I think all my creativity has run away, eith that or it's all being "internalised" *wink*

Cruising

We went on a lovely 2 day cruise on the Dawn Princess over the long weekend. (2 days was way too short though!) Can you guess what we are smiling about????? (*wink*)

Fifth Avenue Florals and Dreams du Jour

These cards are from my two favourite stamp sets of the moment - Fifth Avenue Floral and Dreams du Jour. I also challenged myself to use only one colour (plus black and white).

Crossed Fingers!

Fingers are firmly crossed. Positive visualisations - check. Now all I need to do is get through the next two weeks of waiting and hope that my dreams will come true........

Glitter!

I tried out one of the techniques from Convention. Glitter on a sticky strip! I'm so happy with how it turned out! I will definately be using this technique again. (the other advantage is that the house ends up looking like fairies and elves have been visiting!)

Nasty Cards!!

Ok, so this card is very mean! A friend who has recently been dumped by her husband asked me to make something for her to tell him what she really thinks and here it is......

Dragons

This is a dragon shield/breastplate I've made for my hubby to wear to a fancy dress party tomorrow. He is going as a dragon slayer. Gotta love embossing powder and Stampin Up! bling! (I'm going as the Welsh goddess Arianhrod!)

Convention Make and Take Mini Album

I finally finished my last make and take from Convention. I changed it a little bit, as I wanted to do an album for me and then do the same album for my sister. I also discovered - much to my delight - that I can tell my printer to print on a piece of cardstock say 146mm x 146mm and it will do it perfectly!

Sour Cream/Sunnyboy container

One of the fabulous things I learned at Convention! (please ignore the fact that it isnt actually SU! paper - it was a practice) This one has got teeny-tiny Dove chocolates in it! Yum!!

Stampin Up Convention 2009

Convention was great. I met up with a few other orphans (people attending without uplines/downlines) which was nice. Here I am at the Awards Dinner with the lovely Anna from Launceston! (hi Anna!)
